Dutch Apple Pie

A variation on our classic apple pie with the addition of a layer of luxurious sweet mincemeat to the base. Flavourful, sweet, and very moreish served hot or cold.

Ingredients

Apples (44%), Wheat Flour*, Water, Sugar, Sultanas, Margarine**, Starch, Glucose-Fructose Syrup, Currants, Candied Cut Mixed Peel (Orange, Glucose-Fructose Syrup, Lemons, Citric Acid, Sugar, Preservative: Potassium Sorbate, Vegetable Suet***, Modified Maize Starch, Egg, Preservatives Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Metabi-Sulphite, Acidity Regulator Citric Acid, Mixed Ground Spice,  Caramel (Sugar, Glucose-Fructose Syrup, Water), Orange Oil. May contain traces of tree nuts.

*Wheat Flour Contains: Wheat, Calcium carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin, Mono calcium Phosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate.
**Margarine Contains: Vegetable Oils (Sustainably Sourced Rapeseed, Palm, Sunflower), Water, salt, Emulsifier (Mono and Diglycerides of Fatty Acids), Acid (Citric Acid), Colour (Carotenes), Vitamin A and D, Flavourings.

Cooking and Storing Your Pies

  • Pop your pies in a preheated oven at 180C or Gas Mark 4 for:

    Fruit Pies: 20 Minutes

    Times can vary, Turners Pie’s can be enjoyed hot or cold.

  • Our pies can be enjoyed hot or cold. If you can’t eat your pies all at once, our pies can be both refrigerated or frozen.

    Refrigerate:
    Keep your pies refrigerated for up to 5 days (check the date stamp on the outer box)

    Freeze:
    You can freeze your pies for up to 6 months. Make sure you defrost the pies before reheating them.
