We bake fresh to order
Specialising in quality handmade pies. Turners are a traditional family run baker. Based in West Sussex since 1933, our award-winning products are baked daily, from scratch using only the finest ingredients.
All of our pies are handmade, fresh to order. We bake, chill, pack and send your pies overnight. Our pies are sent fresh, not frozen!
Pack and send
All our freshly baked produce is delivered in specially designed temperature controlled boxes that stay chilled for up to 48 hours, so all your food arrives super fresh every time you order.
When you order Turner’s Pies by Post they arrive with:
- Top quality temperature controlled boxes – Our insulated boxes are assembled with an insulated lining, keeping your pies fresh for up to 48 hours.
- Ice Packs – These specially gel packs are frozen placed in your order to ensure your pies arrives chilled (not frozen). They help keep your pies fresh and they can be reused and recycled afterwards.
- Double walled corrugated box – Our boxes are stronger and better insulated than ordinary boxes they are specifically designed to contain chilled goods.
- Recyclable & reusable – All our packaging has been designed to be reused or recycled. Check out some ideas below!
Our Ice Packs can be reused or recycled. To recycle our packs, cut the corner and drain the contents down your sink. (The contents is food safe and non toxic).
You can then recycle the plastic with other bags at larger super markets!
Alternatively, why not reuse your packs for picnics and lunch boxes?
Choose your delivery date
As we freshly bake all of our pies to order, we have a three day lead time. When you place your order you can choose your delivery date from our “delivery date picker” at the checkout. Once baked, your pies will be sent out to you overnight via our couriers Royal Mail and DPD. Please note that we cannot deliver on a Sunday or a Monday.

And now for the fun part, the eating!
Cooking instructions:
Pop your pies in a preheated oven at 180C or Gasmark 4 for:
Large Pies: 40 Minutes
Small Pies: 25 Minutes
Fruit Pies: 20 minutes
For the air fryer please use the bake option with the above times – time may vary depending on your appliance.
Times can vary, our pies can be enjoyed hot or cold. If you can’t eat your pies all at once, our pies can be both refrigerated or frozen.
Refrigerate: Keep your pies refrigerated for up to 5 days.
Freeze: You can freeze your pies for up to 6 months. Make sure you defrost your pies before reheating them. We do not recommend freezing quiches or scotch eggs.
